The Golden Hour: A Pippin Hill Wedding with Ariella Chezar

July 27th, 2015

This beautiful black tie wedding took place at the classic winery wedding location, Pippin Hill. Ariella Chezar created organic, loose, garden arrangements in soft amber, orange, and cream tones. Elegant elements such as dahlias and garden roses arranged in gold compotes, jewelry boxes with rosebuds for guest seating cards, and formal placesettings of fine china and silver from Festive Fare. Linens from La Tavola were layered to create a soft, feminine texture. Moroccan tea glasses with ornate gold detail were used as votive holders and pillar candles were wrapped with marbled paper to create a romantic candlelit atmosphere. A large floral installation at the entryway by Ariella brought the outside in and created a dramatic focal point for the reception. It was a special honor to plan this wedding, it was for Easton Event's own Augusta's nuptials. The weddding was held at one our favorite locations in Charlottesville, Pippin Hill. The couple wanted an intimate wedding, the ceremony was held in the round, with guests encircling the bride and groom and a carpet of rose petals to mark the spot. Saturn Peaches were a key decor element and were featured on the simple seating card table and at the reception. For dinner, one long table on the veranda was set with elegant rentals and florals from Beehive Events. Peach roses with wild and organic greenery were arranged in elegant ceramic containers. Large hurricane candles added a romantic candlelit glow to the tables. You can see more of this wedding in the spring issue of The Knot. And a big congrats to these two who just celebrated their one year anniversary!

Held at the The Mid-Ocean Club in Bermuda this happy couple said "I do" in front of crashing, turquoise waters. A custom crest by a Happy Menocal set the tone for a bright, tropical, but feminine, affair. In keeping with the feminine vibe, the bride carried a simple bouquet of lily of the valley and the groom wore a single sprig.

For the ceremony, a circular arbor marked the wedding spot and was decorated with soft blue hydrangea and roses. For the reception, a pretty white and blue stripped linen from  Designing Linens let the bright pink and orange florals by Sickling Floral, pop. The dance floor featured the couple's crest as well as some "dancing shoes" for guests. You can see more of this Bermuda wedding in the latest issue of Flutter Magazine
