European Enchantment

June 15th, 2016

As we are approaching the end of the summer months, we have found ourselves reflecting on this sweet wedding from last year. The English and German backgrounds of the bride and groom shined through in every detail, providing old world glamour to their wedding. The printed suite, designed by Rock, Paper, Scissors and calligraphy by Tara Jones, was reminiscent of a true parcel of mail from the old world! Tabletop details were intentionally scaled back to highlight the good company of family and friends, and candles, delicately suspended above the tables, lit up the lovely dinner. The party ended with a beautiful firework show, sending the newlyweds off to begin their journey together.

Springtime on the Ashley

April 6th, 2016

The newly wedded couple, Ashley & JB, rang in spring time on the Ashley River at their reception, taking place at Charleston’s very own Lowndes Grove Plantation. The couple emulated the season through their soft color palette display of pale greens, dusted pinks, and light yellows that adorned the plantation grounds. Guests were greeted with refreshing signature cocktails, accompanied by the violin quartet melodies to create the perfect atmosphere. As the sun set, an elegant seated dinner took place underneath the transformed tent. The tables were draped with delicately embroidered white linens, and decorated with spring flowers laced in an array of glass containers and mint julep cups. Spring was in full bloom as guests twirled beneath the floral chandelier, which was complimented by the couples’ very own customized dance floor. The perfect spring evening came to an end as friends and family gathered to send off the happy couple with a grand sparkler exit!

Equestrian Elegance

November 11th, 2015

Absolutely loved this collaboration for Southern Wedding Magazine! Gathering inspiration from our bucolic Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards and working with amazing vendors such as Amber Moon Design, Beehive Events and Casa de Perrin is always such a pleasure. Our intention was to reinvent the palette of pink and brown by mixing leather, wood, and sophisticated pale pink tones with a romantic equestrian nod. The soft pastel Romona Keveza gown was the finishing touch for our gorgeous our Bride and khaki suiting was perfect for our handsome Groom. Working with the phenomenal destination photographer, KT Merry, was a joy! She has an exquisite eye for detail, beauty, and emotion.
